Perrault nos cuenta que cuando sonaron las Doce en punto de la noche la carroza de Cenicienta se convirtió en calabaza...,

... pero podría haber otra versión que nos contara que la carroza se desvaneció tras una repentina niebla que se levantó cuando Cenicienta volvió corriendo a su casa, una vez perdido su zapato de cristal.
